Message	I know because I tried two subs I already owned. One was too deep, and the other did not match up to the mounting holes. I wasn't about to drill it out, for fear of messing up the box (it doesn't seem all that strong around the mounting area). I ended up getting a brand new old stock JL 10w6 off of eBay. Perhaps you can find some other alternatives. Good luck.
